Sources: state and national medians from CMS Timely & Effective Care (2024 release). Annual visit count from CDC NHAMCS 2022 (most recent available). ED count from AHA Hospital Statistics. Non-urgent-share figure is the average across published systematic reviews of ED utilization (range in literature: 8-62%). These are independent research figures, not computed from our facility feed.
